Happy birthday Amelia, it seems it was just yesterday you started walking and now you are such a big girl, teaching your baby brother to walk. The year whent by so quickly, and now looking back i see i have not been keeping up with posting pictures of you, and i can see how much everyone is missing out on how cute and sweet you are growing up to be.

Gosh time goes by so fast, another year is gone and im 7 months pregnant....
Whent out with Eman and our friends on the 15th of Feb, my 21st birthday. Was actualy quite fun, thanks Tiago and Angie!
My sister took me out later to a surprise girls night out, but i dont have those pictures, They are not very GP anyways, so we can just skip those... hehe

Amelias first birth day

19th of december we celebrated Amelias first birthday, with all her friends over lots of presents... it was a party to be remebered. With all the exitement and seeing her friends do it, she also decided that it was time for her to start walking. it was a day we will never forget.
I know its really late, to be posting all this, but its better late then never.

I know i have not writen much, im just not a big writer or anything. But just so you all know we are doign fine, having fun in portugal visiting lots of family and friends.
We are taking trips out to the beach (even though its quite cold) Amelia still enjoys the sand, she was actualy scared of if first, but then after some time, she was fine and started to think it is actualy quite fun to play with. Unfortunatly I have not been able to take her swiming in the beach, its just too cold, and the sea here is actualy quite rough. Anyways its fun to watch her crawl around and explore to world now that she is more mobile, she holds on things and stands up, and moves around from coutch to coutch. she is getting quite stuborn, wants her way or I am in big trouble. But yet she is still a good girl, and only cryes if she is really not feeling well, or if mommy told he off. Haha.
Anyways, im missing home tons, and i hope Baby does not forget daddy, i show her pix sometimes, but im not really faithfull, and i know daddy will b really sad if she does not remeber him.
But its so far away, two more months till i go home, i dont know if we will survive... Heh
We are going in a faithtrip to Madeira next week for 1 month, and it will be alot of work there, alot of witnesing, and my first time out witnesing with the baby, so pray it is good, and that the baby is especialy good. As during the day we will b out witnesing, and i will do some more fundraising in the weekends, hopefully. So i dont know im praying she will stay strong healthy and happy.
We will visit more of her second cusins there, they are going to absolutly love her, i guess everyone does, she is such a peoples person, a heart warmer, she will just go with any one. She does not think any one is strange, as she loves people, just as happy with any one as she is with mommy. A relative of mine took her home with her to see her kids, and had her playing in her house with her kids, and watching cartoons and she was just perfectly happy not a care in the world, did not even knowtice i was not there. Such a silly girl! haha
My Grandad whent to be with Jesus, so we went to see my relatives and My grandmother, we were there for the funeral. Amelia was so cute and good the hole time, was so quiet in the church, but still managed to distract every one with her giggles. Greatgrandma just loved her though, had such a fun time playing with her, and teaching her little portuguese action songs. So Cute...
Anyways. Next week, and for a hole month I will probably not be able to get online so much, so i will post all the pictures i can now. hopefully i can get all the pictures i took off my camera, being so smart as i am, i forgot the usb plug back in South Africa. BUt anyways, i will make a plan, and get them all posted before i leave.

I have been fighting with with Eman for the longest time so he would let me cut Amelia's hair, but he refused to let me, so one evening, on the 14th july, when he was busy i sneaked off and cut her fringe so it would not bother her eyes.

Just a little update on our situation here is South Africa. I will be having to travel back to Portugal due to some complications with my visa, so I'm just waiting for the babies passport (I'm actually happy about it, its been so long, i miss all my friends and family there TONS, and i cant wait to see them all).
Eman actually wants me to leave the baby with him, but im not so sure about that yet, being that she will be not even a year old. But if i do go there is a chance that Daddy will have to miss Amelias 1st Birth day (along with her first steps and all that other cute stuff) and if i leave her I will probably miss it all. So we have not yet decided what to do about it.
But well the rest of the story is, we are having big changes here in our home, and Eman will basically be the only person left here with the house and all the expenses to take care of, and he needs to raise money for a car as well, so please keep us in your prayers.

We got some new Maltese puppies, but daddy does not let us keep them, weeps weeps.

At first she was scared of the puppies and she started crying but now she likes them and gets all exited when they come around here, she starts kicking and laughing saying "da da ada ada daiii"...

I can never decide what picture to put up, they are all so cute. Amelia is so expressive she looks so cute and interesting in every photo.

She's so funny, starts screaming and laughing when you play with her.

Bela Bela

(literally meaning Boiling Boiling) whilst referring to the natural hot springs in town. This spring water, which rises to the surface at a temperature of 53 degrees centigrade, is rich in limestone minerals, attracting thousands of visitors who come to the town to enjoy the healing qualities of the waters for which the local resort is famous.

Warmbaths / Bela-Bela - has strong mineral springs that flows out of the Earth at a rate of 22 000 liters of water per hour with a temperature of 53°C this water gave rise to the eventual establishment of the town of Warmbaths. The water from these springs are rich in sodium chloride, calcium carbonate and other salts that are highly beneficial to those suffering from rheumatic ailments.

Amelia loved her time in Bela Bela, swimming and splashing with daddy and Uncle tiago.

She could not get enough of her time swimming, and spashing in the warm water.

No one beats dad, flying around and splashing in the water with him was just the best.

We stoped for Lunch.

She was trying to reach for the food she tryies to grab everything she can reach, but she is so lazy, if she does not reach it she will not even try harder, she will just turn around and look for something easier to paly with.

This was in the evening before Uncle tiago took us out for a fish dinner and then we headed home.

We have tried putting her on the Jonny-jump-up, but she still could not hold herself up, that was some time ago already she probably can already just have not tried recently.
Poor little thing, she looks like a little boy in these pictures.

She has so much hair we dont know what to do with it any more, i want to cut her fringe cuz its always in her eyes, and it really bothers her. But Eman really does not want me to, he wants it all to grow out long, so we always arguing about it. We whent to the hair dresser the other day, and i wanted them to cut amelia's hair, just trim it a little shorter, but he did not let them do it. So I always have to keep it tied up to keep it out of her eyes.

Ok i know its been a really long time since we have last posted anything, we have just been really busy with everything.
We have recently found out that i will not get a visa here and we have to leave this country, I dont know yet if it will just be temporary or what's going to happen. But i do know the lord will take care of us.

So with all of this and our fundraising to leave. We just never got the time to post some more pix , but i will now try to update you on what little Amelia has been doing.Shes so cool.

A lot has changed with her, as you know they grow so quickly, from one day to the next they start telling u what to do. Ha. Well Amelia is turning into a little brat, heh.. I mean she is still a good girl, but she already knows what she wants, and if you are not doing things her way she will let you know. She is a very gentle girl though, likes to be treated very gently. but then any chance she gets she will grab your hair and pull it, shes quite strong though. Made grandma's face bleed by scratching her.Amelia playing with Daddy during parent time.

I know its been a wile since I have posted anything on the blog. There has been a lot going on, and its some times hard to find time.
Amelia has been very good though, does not cry a lot just loves to be cuddled. She is now staying awake more, sleeps most of the night, only wakes for a very short time of feeding. Shes so much fun to take care of making kinds of funny faces. I spend my day changing her clothes, see if I can get a picture of her with all her cute clothes before she outgrows them.
Its been so long that i have posted any pictures up, i just dont know which ones to put up. They are all just so cute.
And she grows so quick, seams like every picture i dont post you are missing out on something. Well i will do my best to show you how cute she has been recently!

Sorry we were not able to take any nice pictures together (daddy, mommy and baby) at the hospital. Because of the drugs they gave me i could not really keep my eyes open for more then a few minutes after the operation, i would just keep falling asleep. So Eman spent the rest of the day alone with the baby and grandma. But here are a few pix they took of the baby.

As those of you who know me know i would love to go into details of how it went, that did not really work out because the doctor put me to sleep, so i did not really get to see anything. But I asked my mom if she wanted to be there with me (knowing that Eman would not be able to watch it, not even if he wanted to,) and she happily agreed. She took her camera in with her, but the doctors only let her take picture of the baby when it was born.

I know i have not put any pictures up recently, we have been quite busy now during this Cristmas season, and have not had much time for pictures.
Just for a little updated, the baby will be born tomorow 7 am (19th of December), we had to schedule a ceasarean due to some minor complications of a lack of fluid for it to turn. Though it is still a little small, thank God its happy and healthy, and there is nothing wrong with little baby. We have not settled on any name yet, but hopefully tomorow when we see it we'll get some revelation. hehe
Please keep it in your prayers, that everything goes well, and there are no coplications in the operation.

Kruger Park

We went to the Kruger park for a holiday before Cristmas... We actually saw a lot of animals, but they are so mean there, they don't let you out of the car, and its so dam hot, we almost died... But half way through we found somewhere that we could stop, and they had this really big pool there, so we spent most of the time there in the pool. Did not want to get back in to the car, because it was just to hot to live.

Most of the pictures are of animals and lots of dead trees so it would b real boring if i put them all up so i will just skip that!

We stayed at this African lodge in the Park, so there were always these random animals wandering around. Mostly wild pigs and annoying monkeys, but i thought the Zebras were quite cool. Just hanging around every time we were eating.

We went for a walk at night, but it was quite creepy, when they were going on and on that their neighbour and his wife was attacked on evening by a lepard...
